The forging process over the recrystallization temperature of metal is called hot forging.Hot forging is also called hot die forging. During forging, the deformation metal flows violently and the Forging Parts contact with the mold for a long time.Therefore, it is required that the mould material has high thermal stability, high temperature strength and hardness, impact toughness, heat resistance fatigue and abrasion resistance and is easy to process.The thermal forging die with lighter working load can be made of low alloy steel.
