IQCaliper-L is the only thickness scanning sensor that combines new optical technology with magnetoresistive technology. In traditional thickness sensors, magnetoresistive technology has been used for many years. Due to the same precise magnetoresistance technology, the mechanical deviation produced by the scanning sensor during lateral operation does not affect the thickness measured optically.

The non-contact optical measurement method not only eliminates the paper break caused by the accumulation of holes, resin and stickies, but also breaks the paper due to the contact between the old sensor and the web, and does not break on the sensitive paper. Leave a mark.

Practice has shown that the measurement results of this sensor are very consistent with the traditional magnetoresistive scanning sensor, off-line experimental banner measurement and standard industrial laboratory measurements. Precise and reliable banner measurement with this sensor can be used to control the uniformity of the web thickness and ensure a reasonable structure for large and rewind rolls.
