Special funds support high-speed access to the broken road

The General Office of the Ministry of Transport and the National Development and Reform Commission have issued a notice a few days ago, requesting that the construction of the “bottleneck road” of the national highway “decapitation road” and the common national road be accelerated, and the project construction will be included in the target management.

According to the notice, there are mainly three types of projects that need to be accelerated: the original national highway network planning (referred to as 7918 network) road sections to be built, and the National Highway Network Plan to add new national highways to the interprovincial road sections. An unopened section where one party has been built or is under construction, the other has not commenced construction, and the mileage does not exceed 100 kilometers; the bottleneck road section of an ordinary national road (temporarily delineated in 1981). After combing, the national expressway “Guantou Road” has 23 projects of the “7918” national expressway and a total of 3221 kilometers, and the “National Highway Network Plan” has added 23 national highway projects and 733 kilometers; the common national road “ There are 36 items in the bottleneck section, which covers 2,789 kilometers.

The notice required that the original “7918” national highway project to be built should be reported to the feasibility study report or project application report by the end of August, and the approval process should be completed by the end of October. Construction should start before the end of the year, and efforts should be made to basically complete the “12th Five-Year Plan” period. The new national highway “broken road” project will be added to steadily push forward the construction in the “12th Five-Year Plan” period. The "national bottleneck road section" project of the ordinary national roads should strive to start all projects in the "12th Five-Year Plan" period.

The two ministries and commissions will combine the "12th Five-Year Plan" mid-term assessment to increase the support for national highway "breakaway roads" and common national highways "bottleneck road sections" projects, giving priority to guaranteeing the original "7918" national highway to-be-built road sections; The National Highway “bottleneck road section” project and some of the new national highway “breakaway road” projects with adequate preparatory work and high road network importance were included in the “12th Five-Year Plan” and special funds were allocated to give priority support.
