Continental announced on April 22 that it had established a global marketing department for its commercial vehicle tire business and appointed Michael Neuheisel as its director.

Continental said that the establishment of a global marketing department for commercial vehicles is to further consolidate the strategic focus of its truck and bus fleet business.
Michael Neuheisel will report to Andreas Esser, head of Commercial Vehicle Tire Business in the Mainland, whose role is to coordinate the department's marketing activities in different regions and market segments.
The 41-year-old Michael Neuheisel joined the mainland in 2001 and has held a number of management positions in project management, innovation management, and product and technology portfolio management. He recently held the position of Director at the Puchov Technology Center in the Slovak Republic.
