Figure fruit hardness tester
Fruit hardness tester, also called fruit hardness tester, is widely used in measuring the hardness of apples, pears, grapes and other fruits. The fruit hardness tester is suitable for fruit tree research departments, fruit companies, fruit tree farms, agricultural colleges, and other institutions. It plays an important role in breeding improved varieties, harvest storage, export transportation, and processing. Through the determination of fruit firmness, we can understand the fruit's quality index to a certain extent, and provide corresponding comparisons for fruit harvesting, storage, sale pricing, and processing. There should be a certain correlation between the hardness of the fruit and the maturity of the fruit. The hardness index of the fruit can reflect the maturity of the fruit to some extent.
Fruit hardness tester principle
The fruit firmness refers to the stress (N) of the force-measuring spring subjected to certain fruit unit area (S). Their ratio is defined as the fruit firmness (P). P=N/S, where P is the hardness value of the test fruit is 100000 Pa or kg/cm2; N is the force N or kg of the force spring pressure on the surface of the fruit; S is the force area of the fruit in square meters or Square centimeters.
Fruit hardness tester
Used to measure the hardness of apples, pears, watermelons, bananas and other fruits, to determine the maturity of the fruit, the cultivation of good seeds, picking time, processing time, harvest storage, export transportation and other picking reasonable grasp. It is suitable for fruit tree research departments, fruit tree farms, fruit companies, universities and other units. The instrument is small in size, light in weight, intuitive in value display, and easy to carry. It is suitable for the inspection of fruits in various fruit establishments. The instrument can also be mounted on a dedicated machine and used to improve the accuracy of the test. It is suitable for professional inspection departments.
How to use fruit hardness tester
Before measurement: Turn the dial so that the drive pointer is aligned with the first tick mark on the dial (the GY-1 is the tick 2, the GY-2 and the GY-3 are the tick 0.5); cut the fruit to be tested About 1 square centimeter of skin.
Measure: Hold the hardness tester by hand so that the hardness tester is perpendicular to the surface of the fruit to be measured. The indenter is evenly pressed into the fruit. At this time, the driving pointer starts to drive and instructs the pointer to rotate. When the indenter is pressed to the mark (10 mm), it stops. The reading indicated by the indicator pointer is the hardness of the fruit, taking the average of three times.
After measurement: Rotate the zero return knob to reset the pointer to the initial scale line.
Fruit hardness tester price
Zhejiang Top Instrument Co., Ltd., as a leader in agricultural instruments, has considerable advantages in the supply of fruit hardness and its price. Top offers its own fruit hardness tester developed and manufactured by Japan and a Japanese fruit hardness tester. Among them, the hardness tester developed by the company is GY series, and there are three types of GY-1, GY-2, and GY-3; while there are two models produced in Japan, namely FHM-1 and FHM-5. Domestic and foreign products, despite similar functional indicators, have large price gaps. The price of the fruit hardness tester mentioned above is 3-5 thousand higher than that of the domestic market. Therefore, when selecting a purchase, the fruit hardness tester price should be carefully considered.

At the same time, in the same series, there are also differences in the price of fruit hardness testers between different models. This price difference is mainly due to the difference in the level of accuracy, the length of the side of the head size, and so on. Therefore, before buying, you need to compare goods and make a simple comparative analysis of the performance parameters of each product, then compare the prices, and then make the final decision.
Fruit hardness tester matters needing attention
1. Before the measurement, loosen the tightening knob, turn the dial to align the drive pointer (straight) with the initial scale mark, and then tighten the tightening knob. Check to see if the pointer is on the right side of the drive pointer. If it is not, rotate the zero return knob so that the pointer is on the right side of the drive pointer.
2, in order to achieve a more ideal accuracy, before the measurement, hand pressure head, full-scale pressure two or three times to make it lubricate.
3. When measuring the hardness, it should be inserted evenly and slowly, and it must not be rotated and pressed in, and it cannot be measured by impact.
4. The indenter should be perpendicular to the surface of the fruit.
5, GY-1 and GY-2 fruit hardness tester outer circle scale unit is × 10 5 Pa, inner circle scale unit is kg/cm2, GY-3 type, connect a small indenter, use the inner circle scale reading When connecting a large pressure head, use the outer scale reading.
6, the instrument and the pressure head to keep clean, the measurement is completed clean the juice.
7. The upper professional rack connector is used for the professional inspection department to connect with the rack. When it needs to be connected, unscrew the knob and use the inside wire and the bore on the rack to screw it on.
8. For use for more than one year, the back cover should be opened, and a small amount of oil be injected into the spindle, teeth, jewel eye, and guide groove to improve the instrument accuracy and prolong service life.
9. The force measuring spring has been calibrated at the factory and it is not allowed to turn the nut without permission.
