The person in charge said that starting in April this year, Chongqing Expressway Group and the highway law enforcement department jointly launched the “Traffic Order Renovation” in Chongqing Expressway, focusing on rectifying vehicle overloading, reversing, truck passing rushing, skipping, and walking. He said that according to statistics, after the rectification, Chongqing Expressway Network’s ratio of overrun vehicles has dropped significantly in June this year. Take the example of the municipal high-speed law enforcement team as an example. In June this year, the company investigated more than 57.75 tons of trucks and exceeded 100% of the violations. Compared with the same period last year, the year-on-year decrease was 68.8%.

Chongqing Expressway Group Road disclosed that in October this year, part of the Chongqing Expressway toll gate will take the lead in adopting a brand-new vehicle weighing system.
