The State Administration for Industry and Commerce recently issued a notice requiring companies that are ready to sell branded automobiles to obtain authorization from automobile suppliers to go to the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

According to the notice, the enterprises intending to sell branded automobiles will, after filing with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, undergo a two-level audit and the SAIC will publish a list of branded car dealers. Subsequently, the business scope of the car sales enterprise business licenses will be changed and unified. Approved as Authorized "Selling of Certain Brand Automobiles". In addition, brand car dealerships, including secondary dealers or non-corporate branch offices, as well as automobile chain operators, must also be subject to the nuclear preparation of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce before they can engage in branded car business activities. The notice made it clear that enterprises that had previously obtained the right to operate cars should obtain authorization from the auto supplier before December 31, 2006 and transition to branded car dealerships. If you do not apply for the relevant procedures for branded automobile sales within the time limit, you will be disqualified from operating the automobile. For branded automobile dealers established by foreign investment, the administration for industry and commerce shall change the business scope of its business license in accordance with the approval certificate of the commerce department.

In addition, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce recently issued a notice to carefully clean up and confirm the qualifications of business entities. According to the relevant provisions of the "Second-hand Vehicle Circulation Management Approach", the establishment of operators of second-hand car trading markets and the use of second-hand car dealerships, auctions, brokerages, appraisals and evaluations shall have the qualification of an enterprise legal person.
